Dad was Admitted to Washington regional medical center on Tuesday, July 9.
Primary reason was urinary tract infection.
He also has been having high blood pressure issues and has been given all kind of test.
Yesterday afternoon had suffered a stroke.
Main affects from the stroke are communication problems. He understands everything we say and he understands that he has problems responding.
He seems to be able to respond to questions and comments as long as he is engaged, but has trouble initiating a sentence with the correct words or being able to form words correctly.
We are currently waiting on results from MRI to see the extent of the damage.
He is handling the frustration really well. And we hope to have a good outcome from treatment.
As usual his concern is for mom.

Just acknowledging that Francille alerted us to Jamie's current hospital admission. She said she and a family group were in Fayetteville for her 80th birthday and that she visited briefly with Jamie. Sorry to learn of his plight, but glad he is making the effort to carry on. We seem to be fine. Give Jamie and Beverly our love and best regards, please.
