This resource just dawned on me.
If you would like to send Jamie or Beverly an email, you can do so by going to the WRMC website below and clicking on the "email a patient" link above the Search box on the right hand side of the page. Fill out the form and they will deliver your message to Mom and Dad.

Or you can leave comments at the bottom of each update and I will print and take to Mom and Dad

Hi, Rusty,
ReplyDeleteFirst, I apologize for not getting with you since moving here! I am glad that you have put together this blog about your dad! I learned things. I haven't seen the video, yet.
I am surprised that the doctors want to do open heart surgery at your dad's age. They must think that he is strong enough to recover. Have they given you scenarios of the post operation life?
How is your mom doing?
My dad and I visited Sunday afternoon. I couldn't get dad over there, yesterday. It was cold. I was at work. He did not want to leave the warm. I read your previous posting over the phone to dad. I encouraged him to get over there, at least to see you all.
I think it scared Dad that your dad was in the ICU. He did not know what he could do for your dad.
Anyway, you can help me. I need a program to know who all the players are. I recall that the children are Jamie, you, Suzanne, Cindy, and Nancy. Right? If not, please let me know. I don't know the mates and significant others. Or, the children of yours, either.
I hope that this results in your dad having a few more years of life. If it is a good life, free of pain. I don't wish him to end up as my mom did, in the Fayetteville Health and Rehabilitation Center (I think that name has three separate lies in it).
Anyway, I hope to see you, and your family, soon.

Rusty:
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info. I just talked with Cindy and will try to go through the hospital link to get something to your mom and dad.
